Specific Duties <br>

 Provides guidance to applicants on how to develop applications and advises on eligibility of proposals. <br>
 Reviews and evaluates grant applications sponsored by Rotary Clubs and/or Rotary Districts in a specific geographic area.   <br>
 Provides feedback to project sponsors regarding grant applications and reports on funded projects <br>
 Makes recommendations for approval of grants based upon Trustee established priorities, policies and guidelines. <br>
 Processes grant applications and reports for assigned territory. <br>
 Manages grant files for assigned territory ensuring that all pertinent information is entered into the data management system. <br>
 Ensures good stewardship is exercised by Rotarians, by reviewing financial reports for comparison against approved budgets to ensure there is clear demonstration of the appropriate use of funds. <br>
 Monitors receipt of items required for payment and prepares grant files for payment. <br>
 Handles specific correspondence about Matching Grants and District Simplified Grants and Trustee policy related to these grant programs. <br>
 Provides support to district grants subcommittees and other district leaders for assigned geographic area by answering general questions and inquiries regarding specific grants. <br>
 Serves as a member of Division Task Team (Communication, Training, Evaluation, etc) as assigned. <br>
 Assists section supervisor in the development and implementation of special projects, as necessary.  <br>
 Serves as assigned on district project teams, as necessary <br>
 Travels, when feasible, to project sites to evaluate progress and provide information. <br>
 Other duties as assigned. <br>

Prior Experience <br>
<br>
 Previous customer service experience required, preference given to individuals who have worked for a membership based organization. <br>
 Previous grant experience or not-for-profit work experience helpful. <br>

FPCNS is a network of the faith community and social service agencies of Chicago and the near north suburbs dedicated to help families in homeless situations.    The goal of this program is to quickly return families in homeless situations to a permanent housing solution while providing emergency transitional shelter, nutritious meals, and hospitality, keeping families together and children regularly attending school in the same class as before their family faced a homeless situation.   There are 140+ of these networks around the country affiliated with a national organization called Family Promise. (www.familypromise.org).  <br>
Job Objective:  <br>
Provide case management to families in homeless situations and coordinate the program components of the interfaith network (host congregations, volunteers, referrals to and from supporting agencies, day center, and transportation) for program guest families. <br>
<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
·	The Network Director will be responsible for the oversight of all operations of FPCNS. <br>
·	Provide case management to all guest families.  Conduct intake interviews; develop family plans; meet with guests as they work to secure housing, job training, employment and entitlements; assist with appropriate referrals. <br>
·	Coordinate all Network components to administer program.  Maintain regular contact with site coordinators and other individuals at each host congregation.  Communicate regularly with supporting agencies.  Organize and schedule transportation and daily schedules. <br>
·	Train site coordinators and host congregations initially and follow up with annual training.<br>
·	Hire and train additional staff when needed<br>
·	Maintain records on network operations.  Report to and collaborate with the Board of Directors.  Assist in grant and funding applications.<br>
·	Be on call for emergencies.  Manage daily expenses in accordance with approved budget (approx $120,000).  Coordinate master schedule. <br>
·	Represent the network to the public and the media.<br>
<br>
Qualifications:<br>
·	B.A. degree required; M.S.W. preferred<br>
·	3+ years experience in social service work<br>
·	Experience in volunteer management desirable<br>
·	Comfort working in an interfaith setting, experience working with diverse groups<br>
·	Leadership:  effective in decisions, delegation, and interaction with an active board of directors.<br>
·	Ability and experience counseling clients in a social service setting<br>
·	Strong communications skills (oral and written), effective in one-on-one as well as large group presentations <br>

Monitor program performance as directed, and recommend modifications to supervisor.  Drive Center vehicles and transport members.  Serve as appropriate role model for members.  Act in a professional manner; show respect to all members, staff and stakeholders.  Observe member rights, confidentiality and practice a person-centered philosophy.<br>

Position Responsibilities:<br>
	Work individually and/or with other staff to implement, organize and lead activities with assigned group.<br>
	Continually supervise and be actively involved with all members in assigned group.  <br>
	Run organized and well executed programs.<br>
	Implement and monitor behavior programs, assist with toileting or other personal care needs and be familiar with members dietary and feeding restrictions/needs.<br>
	Transport members safely to and from The Center.  Complete required paperwork, gas-up vehicles and complete vehicle maintenance checks.<br>
	Complete administrative and program record keeping such as: class attendance, member evaluations, incident reports, etc.<br>
	Establish cooperative working relations with parents, community agencies and organizations.<br>

	Utilize approved Center systems, policies and procedures in all aspects of service delivery.<br>
	Maintain regular and consistent work attendance.<br>
	Dress appropriately for job being performed.<br>
	Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.<br>

Safety:<br>
	The safety of each individual is a primary responsibility of each employee; observe necessary precautions to ensure the safety of members.<br>

	Assume designated responsibility during times of drills or emergency situations.<br>

Physical Requirements:<br>
	Must be able to set up program rooms and move supplies throughout building.<br>
	Able to physically assist members throughout building and vehicles.<br>
	Able to perform other physical movements such as, but not limited to, bending, reaching, lifting and transferring of members and stretching.<br>
	Must be able to be trained in CPI and CPR and First Aid.<br>
	Must have visual and hearing abilities to supervise members adequately in the assigned area.<br>

Minimum Qualifications:<br>
	Must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.<br>
