2000. My owner has recently passed away and now I'm back looking for

baby and didn't want me anymore. I am about 16 pounds. I prefer to just
hang out! Will follow you around the house and will settle in when it's
time for bed. I like some dogs and I am ok with cats. My right ear stands
straight up and my left ear flops forward. Sometimes I hop like a bunny.

WHO WE ARE
Pets In Need was founded in 1991 by Pat and Rudy Klimo in Ringwood, Illinois. It is a
state licensed No-Kill, Non-Profit Animal Shelter. We do not receive any government
fund. We rely solely on adoption fees, private donations, and fundraising activities. Our
Mission (Statement) is to "Champion the humane treatment of domesticated animals
through the following means":
*Application and administration of the principle that no animal will ever be euthanized to
make room for another.
*Providing temporary shelter and veterinary care as necessary for those unwanted or lost
pets until such time as their guardian(s) or suitable adoptive homes can be located.
*Promoting public awareness of and accessibility to spay/neuter programs for pets
Our animals come primarily from animal control and open-admission
shelters where the realities of overcrowding and overpetpopulation
lead to the euthanasia of millions of healthy, friendly pets every year.
We need AS MANY FOSTERS AS WE CAN GET! There are no
hard and fast rules limiting location. However, fosters need to be
able and willing to bring pets to our vets in either Libertyville,
McHenry or Wonder Lake. Also to bring pets to adoption events in
McHenry/Vernon Hills. We take in dogs, cats, kittens and puppies and
place them according to the foster home's preference and capabilities.
Minimum age is 18. Our biggest requirements are the ability to follow
directions, reliability, pet owner experience, a sense of humor and a
dose of common sense.
***You can meet several of our homeless pets at the PetSmart in Algonquin,
Illinois every Saturday between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.***

Precious Pets, Almost Home Association has kittens all the time. We have everything from orange tabbies to black and white tuxedos from domestic short hair to domestic long hair and everything in between! Due to limited amount of cages at the PETsMART Adoption Center, we are unable to bring in all our kittens.
All kittens are spayed/neutered, Avid micro-chipped, FIV/FeLV tested, Rabies and Distemper vaccinated, Avid micro-chipped and dewormed. You are welcome to call and inquire what kittens we have available. Please call (773) 250-7141 and leave message.
There is an adoption application and if approved there is an adoption fee. Precious Pets, Almost Home Association is a no kill rescue group that is completely volunteer run.
AHS is saving more than 300 dogs, cats, puppies & kittens every month!
"Foster Care enables us to rescue animals that may have otherwise been
euthanized." Foster families need to live close enough so that they can
return to the shelter for the pet to meet adoptive families, be taken to
vet appointments, etc. A fenced yard is not always required

good home. I am in a foster home with another little kitty. We love each
other and do everything together-eat, sleep and play. I am so looking

I am a long and skinny female tiger stripe who was hanging around a
woman's front porch. I came to Pets In Need, got my shots and am ready
for my new home. I'm probably best as an only cat, although I've come a
long way since arriving in the fall. I would prefer a home without dogs. My
coloring is gorgeous! Please think of me when considering a new cat.
