We are seeking a qualified Property Manager to oversee affordable, elderly properties with 100+ units located in the northern half of the Chicagoland area.
The qualified candidate should have a minimum of three years of Section 42 Tax Credit/IHDA property management and supervisory experience. Experience with the low-income housing tax credit program is required. Candidate shall have working knowledge of the Section 8 program and experience in leasing, marketing, A/P, A/R, budgets, building maintenance, policies/procedures and resident relations and programs. Responsibilities include compliance documentation, marketing, tenant screening, income certification, and to oversee maintenance staff. Must love seniors!
In addition, the qualified candidate should be proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets and Yardi property management software program.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to pass income certification test using the Illinois Housing Development and City of Chicago Department of Housing income certification forms.
