We are a national telecom installer looking for "independent contractors" in the Chicago Area. We have several large financial and retail customers we support accross the country. We build long term successful relationships with our contractors.
We have a multi location rollout project starting in 2009 and continueing through 2010 in the Chicago area. The scope will inlcude site survey, cabling (Cat5e), network setup, server setup, and desktop support.
The Job Requires:
- Existing contractors apply
- Surveying Locations for cabling, network, desktop, and remodel Projects
- Strong Installation of voice Cat3 and data Cat5e/6 cabling experience required
- Extend and install T1 circuits
- Network experience with routers preferred. The ability to console into Cisco routers mainly with a laptop. No programming experience required.
- Experience testing & ID'ing dial tone and tracing phone lines preferred
- Installation of network racks and hardware experience needed
- Excellent written and verbal skills a must
- Experience with Roll Out Project for Desktop/Network Hardware
