Develop a web service that automatically creates Visio diagrams from data sets of entities and relationships. We have a template to use as the diagram model and the data sets for the data source. You need to provide the smarts to write the web service that uses the Visio XML format to create the diagram from the data and ensure the layout is attractive, useful, and effective.
Skills you must have
1) Creating Visio diagrams using the Visio XML format.
2) Writing web services using Microsoft development tools including .Net, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SDKs.
3) Ability to work in an agile development environment where you are delivering value on a weekly basis.
4) Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Details: Supports SQL Server Versions 7, 2000, 2005. Position requires installation, backup, monitoring and troubleshooting of SQL Server environments including HA installations.
Requirements: 3-4 years experience, clustered environments a necessity! 4-year degree, excellent oral and written communication skills. MCDBA or MCSE certification a plus.
Hours: 8a-5p Monday thru Friday w/ OT as necessary.
-Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries and table schema.
-Assist application designers in efficient access to data.
-Help establish procedures and test plans for Quality Assurance.
-Load testing to validate design objectives.
-Perform local administration of development and company databases.
-Create maintenance plans and direct data center database administration.
