Seeking two young actors (one male, one female) for Pulse Electric, a Northwestern University sci-fi romance film sponsored by the NU School of Communication.
Synopsis: In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been wiped out and robots are the only species left standing, RX-9, a human looking robot, struggles to comprehend the complexities of humanity and love. He finds companionship in the beautiful fellow robot B2-T, but the two machines are faced with the odds of a catastrophic power shortage, changing their relationship forever.
The film is scheduled to shoot January 15-17 and 22-24. There is a possibility that the shoot will occur on only one of those weekends, however.
RX-9: A male humanoid robot. Caucasian. 16-25. Jointed actions, vulnerable, sensitive.
B2-T: A female humanoid robot. Caucasian. 16-25. Beautiful, two-faced. Sweet, yet deceitful.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, November 8 at Louis Hall (on the Northwestern campus), Room 118 from 12pm-7pm.
