Accounting Manager
We are a growing information technology firm providing major corporations with warehousing solutions. We provide both hardware and software for our clients.
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper and General Office Support person. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to achieve results independently with minimal direction while working well in a team environment. We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in QuickBooks including job costing, payroll and sales commissions.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for QuickBooks A/P, A/R, payroll, monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, ect.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for preparation of sales commissions and special projects.
Manage paper and electronic filing for payroll tax, sales tax, unemployment and workmans compensation.
Background Experience:
Experience with QuickBooks including job and inventory tracking functions.
Ability to perform duties with speed and accuracy.
High expertise in written communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of all matters of the company business.
Excellent spoken and written English is necessary.
Works well under pressure.
This is a full time position five days per week. Person must be available to commute to Lake Bluff office. We are looking for a highly responsible quality person that can make this position a rewarding and secure part of our operation.
