Accounting Manager

We are a growing information technology firm providing major corporations with warehousing solutions. We provide both hardware and software for our clients.

We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper and General Office Support person. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to achieve results independently with minimal direction while working well in a team environment. We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in QuickBooks including job costing, payroll and sales commissions.

Responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for QuickBooks A/P, A/R, payroll, monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, ect.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for preparation of sales commissions and special projects.
• Manage paper and electronic filing for payroll tax, sales tax, unemployment and workman’s compensation.

Background Experience:
• Experience with QuickBooks including job and inventory tracking functions.
• Ability to perform duties with speed and accuracy.
• High expertise in written communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of all matters of the company business.
• Excellent spoken and written English is necessary.
• Works well under pressure.

This is a full time position five days per week. Person must be available to commute to Lake Bluff office. We are looking for a highly responsible quality person that can make this position a rewarding and secure part of our operation.
