Looking for an experienced 3D CNC designer on Pro-E or MasterCAM

1. CNC Designer to design parts and molds and run CNC machines
2. Must be familiar with Hass machines
3. Must be able to generate tool paths
4. Person should be able to handle leadership role and to over see projects in the Machine Shop/ Mold Shop projects
5. Have a Hands on approach to work

Hours 8:00am- 5:30pm M-F, 8:00- 1:00pm Saturday


Duties:
•Oversees tooling purchases, new and sharpening.
∙Oversees Team Members
•Creates detailed part drawings for the operators at the CNC machine.
∙Maintains a complete back-up of all electronic programs and drawings created
∙Maintains a complete file of all hard copy drawings provided by customers
•Makes sure that preventative maintenance is completed on the CNC.
•Assists in training of team members to meet established standards.
•Other duties which may be assigned on an as-required basis.
•Assists with the engineering of product.

•Assists in developing and maintaining the production schedule for the CNC machines/

•Maintains outstanding attendance.

CNC Programmer


Qualifications:
∙Proficiency in AutoCAD, PRO E, or MasterCam
•Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
•Possesses good computer skills and is able to learn new skills as needed.
•Able to manage multiple priorities.
•Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
•Has knowledge of materials and processes related to the companies manufactured product.
•Must be detailed oriented.
•Ability to read and interpret specifications.
•Must be able to read a dial caliper or equivalent and measure in thousandths (.xxx) of an inch.


Job Relationships:
•Reports directly to General Manager
•Internally works closely with Team Leaders and Team Members, Customer Service
•Externally works with vendors and customers

Authority:
•Recommends changes needed in department.
•Creates purchase orders for tooling.
