WestLake is looking for a Benefits Administrator/Project Manager to play a critical role on a team of Benefits Project Managers performing Benefits Administration functions for clients. This position oversees all phases of project implementation and ongoing management of benefits administration for assigned clients. In addition, this role manages web based enrollment systems for the client’s open enrollment and employee status changes. Candidates should have experience in employee benefits administration, either in Human Resources, or with a benefit outsourcing company.



Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and manage project plan to ensure timely completion of implementation for the enrollment module.
Evaluate client employee benefit packages to set up system and programming requirements, communication materials, and enrollment worksheets.
Create testing plans to ensure accuracy and functionality of system applications.
Identify data layout needs as they relate to each client set-up and work closely with the programmer to implement all applications.
Manage calendar of data transmissions/processes that must be executed on specific dates.
Prepare and assist in client presentations and employee benefit meetings.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Process Manual for each client that documents all procedures regarding specific clients.
Communicate with other client vendors and/or TPA firms as necessary. This will necessitate meetings, conference calls, etc. to stay within established timeframes.
Regularly communicate with client regarding the status of project deadlines and resolve any concerns.


Essential Skills:

Experience using Microsoft Access and/or SQL
Knowledge of legal and compliance regulations regarding employee benefits
Experience in data management


Requirements:

3-5+ years professional experience in Employee Benefit Administration.
Exceptional Project Management Skills.
Ability to independently handle projects assigned by Management.
Strong PC skills with experience using Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
Effective interpersonal and strong communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to use good judgment in confidential situations.
High degree of professionalism.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field or equivalent work experience.
