I am a 33-year-old woman with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. While I am working at a hospital obtaining postdoctoral supervision hours, I am looking to take on some babysitting jobs to earn extra money until I can earn my psychologist license in the state of Illinios. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages. All through college I worked in daycare centers and during my graduate training I worked as a school counselor at an elementary school. I have periodically done babysitting to supplement my income while I was a student. While I am working at an unpaid postdoctoral fellowship, I figured now was a good time to look for some babysitting jobs to help me during this trying financial time.
Because of my education level and experience, I charge between $15-20 per hour. You will not find someone more qualified to look after your children. I have many years experience working with infants up to school age children, so I welcome families with children of all ages to consider me as your babysitter!
