To any parents of young children in the Northwest suburbs looking for part-time, temporary, or occasional childcare during the daytime Monday thru Friday:
I am a 27-year-old stay at home mom who enjoys taking my son on fun excursions, including the park, storytime at the library, swimming, and playdates with other children. We belong to a "moms and babies" group in the area and are always learning about new fun things to do. My son is a very easygoing child who is relatively low-maintenance.

I graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology as well as a minor in Spanish.
For four years before my son was born I was employed as the Office Manager of Chicago Consulting Physicians, which is a fast-paced medical practice downtown. I oversaw scheduling, hiring, training and was involved in a considerable amount of day-to-day problem solving and "damage control" necessary for our staff of 13 medical/administrative assistants and nearly 40 physicians.
In addition to motherhood, my experience with children also includes working at the Crisis Nursery, a child abuse and neglect prevention program, as well as tutoring children with special needs at Barkstall Elementary in Champaign, IL as a part the America Reads program.
