We provide computer, flat screen monitor, printer, fax, copier and company phone. Everyone is connected to our corporate office and works as a very important employee of Persuadable Research. You must provide, at your cost, a dedicated high-speed cable internet connection that runs directly to our equipment. The connection may not be shared with other household members. Satellite and DSL will not work.
You must have a quiet space in your home. The space must be professional. We have zero tolerance for noise in the background – children crying, trains going by, dogs barking, cats meowing, or any other noise. Think of yourself as “in the office” – as in the office as anyone who works in our corporate office. Your office just happens to be a long way “down the hall”. It is an error for you to think of this position as a part-time, nobody-cares-about-me, job.
We provide training in all aspects of the research business. You are paid while you train. You must be skilled with computers. You must have writing, spelling, and strong verbal communication skills.
Project work is different than part-time work. Project work begins at random times. Part-time work is predictable i.e. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Since, research projects begin and end at unknown times, RPM's must be flexible in their availability. The length and complexity of a project is not predictable, either. Some projects take 10 hours, while others take 100 hours. Some weeks an RPM may work 10 hours, while other weeks they may work 55 hours or more. Time flexibility is key to your happiness and success.
Our Sales Associates sell a project. You handle the project from the moment it is sold through delivery. You must be able to speak intelligently to our clients on the phone; be very computer literate, design a well constructed questionnaire in Microsoft Word; program the questionnaire into our software online; monitor the survey; download data; process data; format Excel spreadsheets; create final reports in pdf format; and win the hearts and minds of our clients. In short, your job is to serve the client “beyond their expectation” and make sure they return with additional research projects. If you are skilled, we can teach you the rest.
