BS degree in Computer Science with some Electrical engineering with 8ish years of guitar & band experience (very little recording experience outside personal stuff!). Looking to do this more for fun than anything, meet people, help people out, but some sort of percentage would be nice if profits are involved. Kind of 1/4 of a band member.

I own a minimal amount of equipment - 2 studio amps, 6 channel mixer, laptop w/ various software (sonar, reason, FLstudio, sound forge, acid style), couple xlr mics, a couple noisy EQs, limiter/compressor, etc. - and access to more equipment & session musicians and am willing to upgrade.

Will only work with music that sounds interesting and is too my liking, so have some sort of demo. (You'd be amazed at how well a PC mic sounds). Classic rock, electronica, alternative, trip-hop, classical, jazz, industrial, etc.

Ministry & Skinny Puppy, Aphex Twin & Prodigy, Portishead & Massive Attack, Soundgarden & Dinasour Jr, Herbie Hancock, Pink Floyd and CCR, Faith No More & Korn, Boy Hits Car, etc.
