We do this by offering day support services in two work and training centers, community employment services and in-home support of children and adults with disabilities by trained respite workers.

Position
•The Job Coach/Employment Specialist provides direct supervision on-the-job, and job coaching to adults with a development disability, down syndrome, or autism at businesses within the community.

•Works with individuals with a developmental disability and their job skills to find community employment, and works on skills to maintain employment.

•Provides training to adults with a developmental disability in the areas of self-help, communication, independent living skills, and serves as an appropriate role model for individuals receiving services.

Responsibilities
•Maintains accurate, legible data on the performance of clients including time sheets, performance of objectives, job coaching information, assessments, and incident reports.

•Provides delivery of "Job Coaching" as well as "Job Placement" services to adult clients served that are working out in the community in Job Placement, Enclaves, and Supported Employment programs

Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED
•Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Hours and Work Year
40 Hours Per Week - 12 Months Per Year - Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend hours.
Some evenings and weekends may be required where the Employment Specialist will work outside the normal Countryside working hours.
