The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Network Manager in our IT Department.
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Network administration (including backup, security management, firewall management, user account management, e-mail server management including e-mail web access, internet access, office systems, and applications support).
*Supports server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
*Performs technology needs analysis.
*Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
*Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
*Manages and prioritized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
*Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.
*Supervise and mentor staff.
*Provide help desk support and train staff in learning and adopting new technologies.
