Re:RE: RE: Affordable healthcare (GROW UP.) (Shade)

The OP states: It’s a slip of the tongue. If you spend all day dealing with nations of a different structure, occasionally you will make a slip. I suppose you think he is a "Secret" Muslim?

First of all, the only reason 0bama would “spend all day dealing with nations of a different structure” while on the campaign trail was because that’s where he got most of his campaign contributions from, is that what you meant? "slip of the tongue", my ass.

Second of all, This article from the tribune tries to debunk the “0bama is a Muslim myth”, but it does more to confirm it.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-0703250340mar25-archive,0,7305690.story

"Interviews with dozens of former classmates, teachers, neighbors and friends show that Obama was not a regular practicing Muslim when he was in Indonesia" – implying he was an irregularly practicing Muslim.

"Obama occasionally followed his stepfather to the mosque for Friday prayers, a few neighbors said" – confirming that he did pray in the mosque.

"Obama's 3rd-grade teacher at the Catholic school, who lived near the family [said that] ‘Rarely, Barry went to the mosque with Lolo'" – confirming that Obama attended mosque services.

In sum: Obama was an irregularly practicing Muslim who rarely or occasionally prayed with his step-father in a mosque.

It’s all there in black and white, from a liberal source.

All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed. Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.

Maybe, you should take your own advise, “Your seriously need to examine your type of logic.”

Did anyone see the stocks for healthcare companies? They’re at a 52 week high; this rise is being followed by a rise in stock of the big Pharmaceutical companies.

Aren’t these the evil companies that you have been crying and bitching about all year? Aren’t these companies the cause of all our suffering?

This healthcare reform bill approved by the Senate is not even what 0bama campaigned on last year. There's no universal coverage here, The individual mandate is there and, in fact, there are a slew of new taxes for everyone, especially for those not making $250.000 a year. The current healthcare bill does nothing to reduce healthcare costs or drug costs for the individual, and if it reduces deficits at all, it does so by imposing taxes without supplying benefits for years.

Where is the outrage from the left? Or is this another one of those “excusable” failures that will be dismissed and quickly glossed over?

Oh that’s right; you’re saving your anger for those who post on craigslist.
0bama’s whole academic life was spent listening to and being manipulated by left-wing ideologues or straight up communists.
And I believe, because of his foreign upbringing, he never had the point of view to truly understand the fundamental principles this country was founded on.

Many of us had no idea the Republican Party had it in them, but to devise and implement such a plan was ingenious. Think about it; party leadership acting totally inept while a charismatic young Democrat presidential candidate captures the imagination of the normally lethargic youth vote, captures the senior vote, women, and even sends a thrill up the leg of the media.

And within a few short months after attaining the presidency, he conducts himself in a manner (personally and in office) that had not only invigorated his political opponents, but has them so energized they take to the streets and even march on The Capitol (more than once). One would have to conclude Barack Hussein 0bama is either the most politically clueless president ever, or… is really a stealth Republican destroying the Democrat Party from within.

Is Barack 0bama a Republican plant?

Okay, you little flaccid bastard, I know we've had our differences--I smack you around too much and rarely use lubricant, and you're always hard when I don't need you and limp when I do. We hate each other, and I'm fine with that, but please don't do it. Don't pee on my leg.
Don't think I didn't notice you rolled up in a little sweaty ball. I know what you're planning. You're going to split the stream in two; one ending up on the floor and the other ending up all over my pants. Well, I have a job interview in five minutes, so think of somebody besides yourself for a change.

If you pee on me, I swear to Christ, it's the last straw. I'll go fuckin' Bobbitt on your ass. The pain and humiliation you have caused me over the years far outweighs the good. Remember, I can easily live without you, but you can never survive without me.
And don't think your two little ugly buddies are free and clear. I'm sick of their shit. One's always aching and the other is always sucked up inside of me. Not to mention the fact that they just don't look right. I've seen enough porno to know what a pair of balls is supposed to look like, and there is something seriously wrong here. So tell them this from me--if they get in my way one more time, I'm going to lay them in a paper cutter and SWOOSH! Goodbye testes! And that's a fuckin' promise.

Here is the question I need answerd and how it came to be. Been married 10yrs she said she does not love me cheated on me caught her called her out on it and she said I want a divorce. We still live together because of the kids and mortgage. Put house up for sale not sold yet. She still sleeps in same bed with me I ask don't you think we should be in different rooms. Her response was yes but I don't want to move my stuff. She still cooks dinner every now and then asks me if I'm talking to women via text and who. I said why would that matter. She did say she is going to the attorneys office and filing and has already paid the fee. What I can't understand is why in the world if you do not love someone would you sleep in the same bed, get undressed infront of you, ask stupid questions about what and who I'm texting and wear the damn wedding ring still? Any advice from women and men that have been through this or what is going on in the mind of a women would be great! Thank you

At least that's how it was, and is, for my husband. It started way back when. I was doing some graduation pic's for a neighbor lady cuz her son was sick when they took them in school in his junior year of high school. In October of his senior year she asked if I would take his pic's for her. So....I did here's 1 normal one, and one with him holding me. I thought it would help him relax. Instead, I felt him getting an erection, and it was poking me in the small of my back. It was cranking me up so much, I took him in mine and our husbands bedroom along with the camera, and I let him have me. The camera took 2 pic's one of me sucking his boy meat, and another of him thrusting between my legs. Later that day I gave my husband the roll of graduation pic's to develope for me, knowing the pic's of the kid having me was on the roll, and 15 minutes later he had me on the floor of the darkroom, and he was thrusting inside me asking me if he was as good as the 18 yr old kid.
That was roughly 21 yrs. ago, and I have no idea how many men I have given myself to as my husband either just watched or took video and pic's too. I've never had a disease of any kind. I take our time picking who I let have me, and I give my husband no choice in the matter. I just figure it makes it hotter for him. I wrote this hoping the OP would write me. I have never talked with anyone else that has done this, or...wanted to

Re:Let the Bush Tax Cuts on the Wealthy Expire (Shade)

Since the passage of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, critics have claimed incessantly that they disproportionately benefited the rich while burdening the poor. Now that the data is in, these claims have been shown to be unquestionably false.

According to a report issued by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the tax cuts significantly increased the share of federal income taxes paid by the highest-earning 20 percent of households compared to their levels in 2000, President Clinton’s final year in office.
In 2006, the latest available year from CBO, the top 20 percent of income earners paid 86.3 percent of all federal income taxes, an all-time high.[1] This is an increase of over 6 percent from 2000, when the top 20 percent paid 81.2 percent. During the same period, the bottom four quintiles all saw their share of the federal income tax burden fall sharply:
• The bottom 20 percent of income earners' share of federal income taxes fell from –1.6 percent in 2000 to –2.8 percent in 2006;
• The next 20 percent's share declined from 1.1 percent to –0.8 percent;
• The middle quintile's share dropped from 5.7 percent to 4.4 percent; and
• The fourth quintile's share decreased from 13.5 percent to 12.9 percent.

If you’re dumb enough to believe that tax cuts cause deficits, Please, give all of your money to the government.

You’re too stupid to spend it.

The lefts tyrannical majority (Shade)

Last night Senator Jim DeMint exposed the Senate majority’s inclusion of a rules change in the health care bill which, under Senate rules, should require a 2/3 majority to pass. In effect, what the democrats have done with the health care legislation is nothing less than “a tyrannical majority … trampling the rights of the minority or of future Congresses.” This is unprecedented, and really quite astounding.

Under section C, titled “Limitations on changes to this subsection”:

“It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.”

As I recall, Congress is not allowed to pass rules that bind future Congresses. In the House, the rules have to be offered and approved at the beginning of each session. The Senate has standing rules, but they are not in the form of law that requires further legislation to alter — legislation that would be, under this bill, out of order even to introduce. It basically makes Harry Reid the dictator of the Senate, not just now, but in perpetuity.

If ever the people of the United States rise up and fight over passage of 0bamacare, Harry Reid must be remembered as the man who sacrificed the dignity of his office for a few pieces of silver. The rules of fair play that have kept the basic integrity of the Republic alive have died with Harry Reid. Reid has slipped in a provision into the health care legislation prohibiting future Congresses from changing any regulations imposed on Americans by the Independent Medicare [note: originally referred to as "medical"] Advisory Boards, which are commonly called the “Death Panels.”

It was Reid leading the Democrats who ignored 200 years of Senate precedents to rule that Senator Sanders could withdraw his amendment while it was being read.

It was Reid leading the Democrats who has determined again and again over the past few days that hundreds of years of accumulated Senate parliamentary rulings have no bearing on the health care vote.

And on December 21, 2009, it was Harry Reid who sold out the Republic.

Resurrection Medical Center - Who Thinks of These Names? (NW Suburbs)

Resurrection Health Care and the Third Commandment

As I was lifted from the sidewalk by emergency medical personnel dispatched from Resurrection Medical Center,
the paramedics told me not to worry, for I was headed to a Catholic Hospital. My moans of protest that even a simple
emergency room visit would financially break me fell upon deaf ears as I was lifted onto the stretcher - I was on my way
to the emergency room. While the paramedics started the IV medication that I so desperately needed, I could only writhe
in agony knowing that with each drop hundreds of my hard earned dollars would be requested - I am underinsured.

As soon as I was laid onto an emergency room bed, doctors surrounded me. They monitored my vitals, asked pertinent
questions, and showed a genuine interest in not letting me die in their hospital - I was grateful. However, a little brunette
woman accompanied them into my room, and proceeded to drill me with questions about my insurance policy and how
I would pay the exorbitant costs of care. Alone, afraid, and barely conscious, I attempted to answer her questions about
my inadequate policy and my low income level. Like many Americans, I worked for minimum wage at a retailer that does
not provide health care coverage. Terrified even more by her interrogation, I realized that the care provided to me was going
to cost a horrific amount of money. After this small woman left my room, a few med students began to trickle in to ask me
the same questions my ER doctors had asked only moments before. In my weak state, I must admit that I fell asleep on
my hospital bed while staring at the intimidating IV needle that was carefully placed in my arm.
I slept for an hour or two, after which I was woken up and rapidly discharged.

Wearing my paper garments from the hospital, I shivered in the waiting room while awaiting my pick up. Still soaked in
sweat and very much terrified, I watched Fox News in the waiting area to pass the time. While I normally avoid Fox News
Channel, the topic of health care reform was being discussed on the plasma screen that I shivered in front of. A very concerned
and dear friend of mine drove all the way out of his way to pick me up - purely out of the kindness and love in his heart.
When he took me to his home, his family also offered me their kindness and love by providing me with warm hugs
and clothes, mountain dew, and a hearty warm meal. They asked for nothing in return except for my love, and I profusely
thanked them for their undying kindness. It would be a few weeks before I would receive the first of my ridiculous
medical bills from Resurrection Health Care.

I don’t attend church every sunday, but I was raised in a Christian household and taught to uphold an honorable way of life.
During my childhood, my parents and the members of our church taught me important Christian ideals. They spoke of the
love of our Lord God, and his wonderful forgiveness, the love one should have for his or her fellow human beings - regardless
of financial, racial, or cultural situation, the truth and beauty of the Ten Commandments, and how Christ died for our sins - and
was later resurrected by God (Easter isn’t just about bunnies and chocolates kiddies, there’s a higher message at work).
I’m not sure if Jesus Christ is a historical figure, or a symbol of the love of our Lord, but I appreciate his lessons in charity,
forgiveness, and ultimate sacrifice that he made for humanity. His ultimate sacrifice for humanity remains one of the most
touching and important stories I heard in bible study class as a child.

Jesus was always described to me as a forgiving kind person. He didn’t ask for payment when he taught or healed, and he
treated everyone equally - from the most frail child to the richest of kings, Jesus was an equal opportunity teacher and healer.
Jesus didn’t bill you later for services rendered, and I’m willing to venture a guess that he didn’t kick anyone out of his
emergency room, or drill them about their insurance information in their time of need. I remember a story of the only time Jesus
was irritated. The story of the Son of God toppling the tables of vendors inside the temple also touched my heart. Truly, Jesus
Christ was a great man who valued the love for his fellow people more than the biggest pile of gold in the world. When the time
came, he paid the ultimate sacrifice for humanity by dying for our sins - an act that as a child, I couldn’t quite understand.
As an adult however, I realize the deeper meaning of this sacrifice and it’s importance as a symbol of how the truly honorable
live and die. When I was taught about easter in church, I learned how Jesus was resurrected by God to be with him in the kingdom of heaven.

This is an indictment of both the appallingly inadequate health care system in the US and the folks at Resurrection Medical
Center - folks that could learn a thing or two by reading the stories of Jesus (the stories are in the bible maybe they should
pick up a copy sometime). I now cite the third Commandment handed down to man from God and spoken by Moses to his
people: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name
in vain. I’m guessing that they don’t really resurrect people from the dead at Resurrection Medical Center and that the name is a
symbol of the resurrection of Jesus Christ (the paramedics told me it was a Catholic hospital). From what I have learned about the
love of the LORD thy God, Jesus didn’t care about your money, your race, your age, or anything else. If God created you, Jesus
loved you (we sang songs about this in sunday school). The behavior of the personnel at Resurrection Medical Center was very
different from the teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ - even though they have named their facility after his rise from the tomb
and many crucifix adorn the inside of their building.

Again, I cite the third Commandment of the Lord, our God: the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
My fellow Americans, these are powerful words. Would Jesus have booted me from his hospital after finding out I couldn’t pay him?
My friends, I say no. From what I have learned about the love of our Lord, Jesus didn’t care about my money, or your money, or anyone
else’s money - he loved everyone regardless of how fat their pockets were. Using the name of the Resurrection to describe the
facilities at Resurrection Medical Center is pure blasphemy. Resurrection Medical Center has billed me a huge amount of money.
For roughly 3 hours of service and a 2 mile ambulance ride, the people at Resurrection Medical Center are asking only for one third
of my annual take home income. While this is an indictment of the health care system in America, it is also a message about the horrible
injustice that is Resurrection Medical Center. Re-name this facility - it is blasphemous and also inaccurate to name your hospital after the
Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. How dare you. HOW DARE YOU use the name of such a charitable and honorable man to describe
your injustices. A name like, “Park Ridge Hospital”, “Northwest Suburban Hospital”, or “Pay Or Die Hospital” would be much more fitting.
HOW DARE YOU use the name of the Resurrection while you demand such outrageous fees. Maybe the folks at Resurrection Medical Center
weren’t listening in Sunday school when they were told this: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the Lord will not
hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. While they won’t be able to fix the broken health care system in this country, at least they could
remove the religious aspect of their name. Flying the flag of Jesus Christ over your building when clearly you have very little intent of following
through with his teachings is just plain wrong. While Jesus taught and healed people for free, regardless of race, age, or culture, the people at
Resurrection Medical Center care about your money - they care ALOT. I don't walk on water. I don't turn water to wine - But I also don't name myself
Jesus Christ, or apply his good name to any of my human actions. Would Jesus Christ have wrapped me in paper clothes and tossed my
soaking wet body out of his loving care? From what I’ve learned about Him, I don’t think he would have - he also wouldn’t want me to do something
like that either. If Jesus were to return to earth and need medical attention from their hospital, I’m willing to bet probably the same little woman who
drilled me about my insurance information would be at the Son of God’s bedside asking him for his insurance card.

“‘The plan I’m announcing tonight,’ the President said on September 9th, ‘will slow the growth of health care costs for our families, our businesses, and our government.’

“‘My plan,’ the President said, ‘would bring down premiums by $2500 for the typical family…’

“‘I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficit,’ the President said, ‘either now or in the future.’

“And, on taxes? ‘No family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase,’ he said.

He said he wouldn’t cut Medicare.

“People who like the plans they have wouldn’t lose their coverage.

“And, Americans were promised an open, honest debate. ‘That’s what I will do in bringing all parties together,’ then-Senator Obama said on the campaign trail, ‘not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN.’

“That was then, and this is now.

“But here’s the reality: the Democrat bill we’re voting on tonight raises health care costs. That’s not me talking — that’s the administration’s own budget scorekeeper.

“It raises premiums — that’s the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office talking. It raises taxes on tens of millions of middle class Americans.

“And, it plunders Medicare by half a trillion dollars It forces people off the plans they have — including millions of seniors.

“It allows the federal government for the first time in our history to use taxpayer dollars for abortions.

So a President who was voted into office on the promise of change said he wanted lower premiums. That changed. He said he wouldn’t raise taxes. That changed. He said he wanted lower costs. That changed. He said he wouldn’t cut Medicare. And, that changed too.

Ah, yes, sometimes my alcoholic drink looks more inviting than any man. I'm not writing this for a response from any man, I'm writing this to let you know that it has become quite frustrating for me for way too long to find a good man. It seems men want a woman who makes good money, but not more money than they do. Why is it that money has to be an issue? If a woman makes between $25,000-$35,000 a year, why is she less of a woman? If she is comfortable making that sort of money and making smart money decisions, what is the problem with men that they cannot accept this? If this same woman has no credit card debt and does not live paycheck to paycheck, isn't that what you should be concerned with? I know that money doesn't make a person, why is it that men define woman according to their income?

Carbon trading (Shade)

That there exists something called carbon trading is about all that most people know. A few know, too, that Europe has created carbon exchanges, and traders who buy and sell. Few but the professionals, however, know that this market is now failing in its purpose: to edge up the cost of emitting CO2.

The theory sounded fine in the boom years, back when Nicholas Stern described climate change as "the biggest market failure in history" - a market failure to which carbon trading was meant to be a market solution. Instead, it's bolstering the business case for fossil fuels.

Understanding why is easy. A year ago European governments allocated a limited number of carbon emission permits to their big polluters. Businesses that reduce pollution are allowed to sell spare permits to ones that need more. As demand outstrips this capped supply, and the price of permits rises, an incentive grows to invest in green energy. Why buy costly permits to keep a coal plant running when you can put the cash into clean power instead?

All this only works as the carbon price lifts.

If carbon price drop or permits are cheap, and everyone has lots, the green incentive crashes into reverse. As recession slashes output, companies pile up permits they don't need and sell them. Other companies looking to slash costs will postpone or even scrap plans to upgrade to green technology, thus reducing the supply of tradable credits. And with the lack of available capital these days, offset projects – which often require substantial up-front investment – are having trouble securing adequate funding.

The price has fallen, and anyone who wants to pollute can afford to do so.

The overall result is a system that does nothing at all for climate change but a lot for the bottom lines of mega-polluters.

Furthermore, a study by Friends of the Earth draws disturbing parallels between the carbon market and the subprime housing crisis. Uncompleted or misleading offset projects, the report explains, could ultimately fail to reduce atmospheric carbon levels. And since sellers often promise to deliver carbon credits before they’ve even been issued – and sometimes before crediting agencies can even verify how much greenhouse gases those projects actually reduce – carbon credit contracts based on offset projects potentially carry a high risk of not being fulfilled.
Because many cap-and-trade schemes allow for offset projects to comprise a substantial portion of the total credits on the market, this “opens the door wide for subprime carbon,” says the report. If offsets fail to reduce greenhouse gases, carbon credits would crash in value – and it would be the subprime housing market all over again.

The blame lies with governments that signed up to carbon trading as a neat idea, but then indulged polluters with luxurious quantities of permits. The excuse was that growth would soon see them bumping against the ceiling. The effect is further proof that government interference equates to disaster.

Instead, exchanges are in meltdown: a ton of carbon has dropped to about $8, down from last year's summer peak of $31 and far below the $30-$45 range at which renewables can compete with fossil fuels.

The Copenhagen climate summit was pretty much summed up in the high-level segment when [Australian climate minister] Penny Wong's speech was interrupted by whistles and chanting and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez got a standing ovation.

“There is a group of countries that believe they are superior to those of us from the South, to those of us from the Third Word”, Chavez said.

“This does not surprise us ... we are again faced with powerful evidence of global imperial dictatorship.”

“Let’s not change the climate. Let’s change the system!”

“And as a consequence, we will begin to save the planet. Capitalism is a destructive development model that is putting an end to life that threatens to put a definitive end to the human species.”

History requires all people to struggle against capitalism or else life on the planet “will disappear”, the Venezuelan president argued.

“It was not feasible to call countries such as the US and China to sit at the summit on an equal footing, the same obligations cannot be imposed on both nations” Chavez said.

The day before Chavez “brought the house down”, Hillary Clinton told reporters “the United States is willing to commit up to $10 billion a year, and would support a global fund of $100 billion a year to help developing nations deal with climate change.

Hundreds of billions of our dollars going to people that stand up and applaud the destruction of capitalism.

Now, why would anyone want this president to fail?
