If you require a deposit, it will have to be split up into two payments. Times are tough right now, so my max for a place to live is 450.00.

Idealistically I am looking for another straight male in his 20’s to 30’s just looking for just one good roommate. You do not have kids or at least ones that live with you and are reasonably clean and respectful. While I say month to month, I really need something to get though at least six months. I never purchased a home largely because of the market and I’m still not ready to buy today, hence why I¹m looking for a good roommate situation. While I am really only looking for a situation with one other similarly aged roommate or couple, I am also considering renting a place to live by myself.

So you have a room? Great! I have couple questions for you:
1. Price & utilities $?
2. Location?
- What city & at least the cross streets
3. Size of room, closet(s), rest of shared place (aka kitchen)?
- I do have a King size bed and furniture
4. bathroom?
- I’m really looking for my own private at least 3/4 bath
5. broadband/high-speed internet access included?
6. parking situation?
- Really preferred something covered but negotiable
7. Are you the owner?
8. Situation?
- Total # of people, pets, girlfriends, children, family, your lifestyle, while I’m rather clean would you consider splitting maid service? etc. etc.
9. Furniture?

I do not have pets but yours are ok. I do not smoke & looking for the same. I’m rather clean but found maid service often can be helpful in roommate situations but of course that is negotiable and currently live without it. I have excellent professional, previous landlord & personal references. I will pass a credit + background checks. I am only looking for a new place because my current roommate/friend has decided to sell the house and move.

About me:

I am a 24 female with a biology degree.

I am a very organized and clean person.

I do own 2 dogs that will come with me, but they are both very well behaved considering I am a dog trainer.

I love to cook so I don't mind cooking for me and my roommate, but I just don't want to buy all the food.

I do have some furniture that we can use for the living room like a coffee table and I am hoping to get a couch as well soon.

I don't go out very often so you don't have to worry about me coming hope at 3 in the morning every night.

I am very easy to get along with. I lived with my last roommate for 4 years. (I can give out her phone number for a reference if needed)

Bills will be split in half with minor exceptions. ( Like if you don't want internet then I will just pay that)


What I am looking for:

22-29 years old can be male or female

Can keep the areas we share clean. I don't really care about your bed room that can be kept however you want it.

Should be able to provide some furniture, I really don't mind if we are limited on the pieces of furniture we have.

Should be for the most part Drama free- but lets face it who doesn't have at least a tiny bit of drama in their lives.

Should have a stable income.

And you must like dogs. Mine will typically stay in my room, but they will be around at times.

I will be in the Chicago area in January to meet up with any prospective roommates.
