Associate Technical Project Manager Temp to Perm Hire.

A rapidly growing international company that provides payroll services is looking for an Associate Technical Project Manager. The Associate Technical Project Manager is primarily responsible for the support to the Technical Project Manager. The position acts as technical liaison between the companys clients, application provider, and the design and implementation teams. This a full-time entry level position, temp to perm hire.
Key responsibilities include:
Systems needs analysis
Requirements gathering
System design, implementation and testing
Specifications and specification reports (format and content)
Management of system upgrade deployments
Key attributes include:
Business professional acumen
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to understand the big picture business need, while focusing on the technical solution.
Strong knowledge and experience with Excel
Ability to multi-task within projects and for multiple projects
Other desirable attributes include:
Programming experience and understanding:
o Visual Basic
o Java
o SQL like database platforms and programs
o Other languages that may have problem solving application
Background with data transformation and data transfer
Systems experience: Microsoft OS and Applications (Project, Visio, Office, etc.)
Bachelors in Management Information System or a related field is required.
The company is located in Deerfield, IL, and is assessable to transportation and multiple communities.
