We are looking to hire an IT Support Technician to provide network and other IT related support to our clients in Schaumburg and Elgin. Responsibilities:
o End user support and training
o Setup/management of all Windows systems & network infrastructure
o Troubleshooting of all systems related issues
o Network maintenance and security
o Provisioning of new systems as required/resource allocation
o Communicating highly technical information to non-technical clients
o Management of telecommunications (VoIP, cellular, smartphones)
o Installing and configuring PCs and peripheral devices
Required Skills:
o Thorough knowledge of Windows XP/Vista/7
o Experience rebuilding workstations
o Excellent customer service and communication skills
o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
o Self-starter, capable of successfully achieving support goals while unsupervised
o Highly reliable and well organized; capable of balancing several projects and maintaining priorities
Minimum Education Required:
o A 4-Year Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is preferred; however this requirement may be waived if the applicant has necessary related experience.
