A great opportunity with a client in the WESTERN BURBS. Our client is looking for a Writer with social media skills to work with their team.
We are looking for someone to fill a hybrid role---Web Content/Marketing Writer and Social Media Coordinator. Experience writing for the healthcare industry is a MUST.
You will be responsible for writing online and print marketing content. Projects will include writing/managing content for newsletters(print and electronic), brochures, web sites, etc.
You will also be responsible for updating social media networks to include Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, You Tube, blogs, etc.

* At least 3 to 5 years experience creating technical documentation for end-users and technical audiences.
* Experience documenting hardware, software, and networking components.
* Demonstrated expertise in Framemaker, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
* Proficiency in Illustrator, RoboHelp, and Microsoft Word.
* Strong technical aptitude.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to change.
* Ability to work independently and drive a documentation project to completion.

This exciting and versatile role will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing department. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
• The creation/update of all Progressive Components Business Unit websites, sell sheets, and other marketing materials.
• The creation of catalog pages, and website CAD geometry updates.
• The creation of newsletters and supporting materials.
The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses creativity and talent working on a team or individually to create flyers, newsletters and website updates. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and writing skills. Close attention to detail is a must.
Required Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as desktop publishing experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and related Adobe products. MS Front Page or Expressions Website Editing or equivalent.

We are looking for someone to run an editorial department for our client. You must have at LEAST 8 years of experience in educational publishing.
You will be responsible for hiring freelancers, managing an editorial department, and working directly with publishers to build relationships.
You MUST have experience managing people. You must also have textbook publishing experience preferably in Math, Science and Social Studies publications for K-12 audiences.
Responsibilities will include:
-Develop project schedules and estimates
-Client interaction
-Manage a team of editors
