This is a Rans Velocity 2 recumbent touring bike. If you have trouble riding a conventional bike this is for you. You can lay back and peddle without the pains you get from riding upright. If you have no problems, this is just a fantastic touring bike that you can enjoy for years. I bought this a couple of years ago and have only ridden it a half dozen times. It is fantastic, but I just haven't used it much. It was over $1500.00 retail when I bought it new. They are not real easy to find either. I'm sorry folks, but the price is firm. If you're wanting one of these, here you can save a few hundred bucks and not have to drive around looking for one. And you can hardly tell this from a new one. Not a scratch on it. This bike has a wide, motorcycle-size rear tire and a riveted saddle seat. The custom-stretched chopper frame includes a wedge-shaped piece of metal where a motorcycle's gas tank would be. It even parks like a real motorcycle with double-leg kickstand that raises the front wheel when locked down.
