In order to be considered for a position, candidates must:
Have a qualifying ACT/SAT score
ACT (28 or higher)
SAT (620 or higher on each section)
Attend an interview and demonstrate an outstanding teaching style
Be available to teach in the suburbs, weekday evenings and/or weekends
Young Rembrandts is a national award-winning after school drawing program. Our innovative step-by-step process teaches children basic drawing techniques. The curriculum encourages children to express their imaginations while improving motor skills, patience, focus, and ability to stay on task.
Young Rembrandts is seeking energetic and enthusiastic candidates who have experience working with children, who have had the responsibility for motivating groups of children and guiding their behavior. Classroom management skills preferred. Young Rembrandts will train qualified Instructors in the Young Rembrandts methodology and teaching technique, and are provided all lessons, supplies, and materials.
Young Rembrandts offers classes in public and private schools at the end of the regular school day, as well as in park districts and preschools. As a Young Rembrandts Instructor, you must be available to teach a minimum of 2-3 one-hour classes in the afternoon each week.

Currently we are seeking teachers in Lake and Porter Counties.
