This stereo DOES NOT PLAY CD'S. But it has an AUX input so you can listen to your iPod or Mp3 player. It also has AM/FM radio. It has a handle so you can pick it up and also has 3 mounts on it, on the base, and on both of the speakers so it hangs on the wall. The speakers are also detachable but only for an inch or two and has a clock on it with a backlight.
