The full-time position will be divided among three different roles within the shelter according to the following:
10-20 hours as an animal care attendant cleaning cages, socializing animals, administering medications, feeding/watering, and generally responsible for care of shelter animal population (cats, dogs, small mammals), taking pictures of adoptable animals and temperament testing
10-20 hours as an adoptions counselor answering phones, interviewing potential adopters and making matches between shelter pets and individuals

The ideal candidate will have a flexible work schedule and the ability to work weekends and some evenings. Previous animal shelter experience is a plus but we will train the right individual. Demonstrated computer experience, the ability to lift 25 pounds, and a valid driver's license are all requirements.
