The Target Optical Team Member ensures the delivery of the store’s top 3 results (T3) by delivering the Brand Promise: Simple, Fun, and In-Style. The OTM must demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership attributes such as initiative, persistence, commitment, persuasion, problem solving, and models an ‘eye for fashion’ attitude. The OTM will ensure a positive and productive retail sales environment that delivers a premier fashionable Guest experience, build clientele, and serve as a business growth partner to the Target Optical Doctor and Target Host.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Builds Plans to deliver profitable store sales measured by our Top 3 Results.
* Ensure the delivery of a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience through Try It On.
* Daily, builds brand awareness by attracting new guests from the host to optical.
* Develop a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host through regular co-planning.
* Models the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
* Ability to motivate, influence and inspire Teams in creating a personalized Fashion experience for each Guest on every visit by uncovering their personal style and matching to products available in the store.
* Ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs and promotions, the accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.

The optimal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner and has a strong attention to detail. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communications and the ability to build relationships with store personnel.
Responsibilities:
Read a schematic and reset a category
Check date codes, schematic integrity, replacing decals/re-order tags or ads and placing point of purchase material
Maintain merchandising excellence and build customer good will on reset projects
Report observations to Area Manager on out-dated product and unclaimed stock
Responsible for special reset projects and may transport on-site delivery of all materials, supplies and equipment
Receive and report work through a web based application Follow company policy and utilize safety techniques in execution of reset teamwork
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required
Must be able to work hours between 9:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday - Thursday
Prior food broker, retail and reset responsibility experience is preferred
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a car
Must be able to operate a computer and have access to high speed internet
Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision making and leadership skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with others
May be asked to work in cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores)

The Part Time Field Service Rep (FSR) is responsible for collecting data in local retail stores. The types of information you will be collecting are in displays, on store shelves and weekly in store features. Each store has an assigned day(s) when scans need to be conducted but the hours are flexible. This part time opportunity offers a flexible work schedule, with most work typically performed between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Along with a competitive pay rate, IRI gives you the potential to earn more money depending on your efficiency and productivity. We also offer travel time and mileage reimbursement along with local paid training. This position will not lead to Fulltime employment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work hours range from 10-24 hours a week, depending on the weeks' projects
* Use IRI’s collection portable computer, (MONet device) answer survey questions about store conditions, activities, product displays and product counts
* Must have daily access to a landline phone line, digital phone line or wireless internet connection to transmit data
* Effectively perform projects within deadlines and be detailed orientated
* Demonstrate a willingness to cover open tasks
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:
* Living in the Crown Point/Merrillville, IN area
* Experience involving data collection in retail is a plus
* Reliable vehicle with proof of liability auto insurance and a valid driver’s license
* Must have daily access to the Internet and have an email address
* Must have a basic understanding of computers including Microsoft windows
* Weekday and some weekend availability may be required
* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, reach up to 6 feet, stand and walk up to 6 hours, stretch, bend, kneel and stoop
* Must be 18 years or older
