Job Description
An independent field inspector acts as the eyes and ears of the company requesting the inspection. A field inspection is a visual inspection of residential property. These inspections are specifically made to identify what shape a property is in, your job as an independent contractor is to thoroughly and completely fill out each inspection form. You will also be required to take 2 pictures of each property and upload them to an online database along with the rest of the information gathered in the field. In order for you to maximize your earning potential, you need to maximize the hours of sunlight available. The main push for these inspections occurs every 10 days. Once the inspections are received you will have 3 days to complete them. Once completed there will be a 5-7 day down time until the next batch of inspections arrives.
This Job will Require you to do a estimated
amount of 210 inspections in a 3 day period 70 per day. You will need to take 2 pictures per house and fill out a quick
worksheet on each inspection. Then you will have to upload the information onto our website. You will be given an account.
Sometimes the terms of the inspection will be a little different (you will be required to them) but 90% of them will be as stated above.

Daily Tasks:
1. Inspect all levels of the building hallways. Noting any corrective action to be taken.
2. Inspect all building entryways. Remove all trash and unauthorized flyers, and insure the proper working of all doors and lights.

4. Replace any burnt out light bulbs.
5. Insure all buzzers have proper and uniform name tags.

Mechanical Inspections:
Weekly the mechanical rooms in each building will be inspected. Each room is to be kept clean and free of debris. Floors are to be swept on a regular basis to insure they are kept clean at all times. There is to be no storage of any material in the mechanical rooms. Hot water tanks should be drained of sediment as required.
An annual mechanical maintenance is to be developed to insure that appropriate weekly, monthly and or annual inspections are done in a timely manner.
