I live in a 4 bedroom 3 bath duplex down in the Westloop. I have lived at this address for the last 4 years and really enjoy all that the Westloop has to offer. 2 1/2 blocks away from my house is the green/pink line and the CTA bus route for Washington/Madison picks up less than a half block from the house.

The 2 bedrooms for rent are both average size and currently 1 has a full size bed in it with nightstands on both sides of the bed. I also have in there a t.v. stand and dresser. The furniture, if needed, can stay in the room otherwise I can also remove it if someone has their own bed, dresser, and nightstands. There are 2 closets in the rooms that are approximately 3 feet each. The bathroom in between the 2 bedrooms and has a tub and a marble surround.

My place is approximately 2200 sq. ft of which the 2 renters would have access to and I am asking $680 for each of the bedrooms plus splitting the utilities which should would include Direct TV, SBC DSL (if they plan on using the internet), Brinks, Peoples Energy, and ComEd. There is a entrance to the basement that is separate from where I enter so I guess you could say there is a private entrance for the renters. I have laundry in the located in the basement as well.

I do have a 60lb boxer who is very friendly (actually believes he weighs 5lbs) and he stays in a cage unless I'm at home.

In the basement I also have another bedroom, a very large bar area, and family room that seats more than 8 people comfortably.

I tend to be pretty clean and somewhat tidy so I would hope to have a roommate that feels the same way. I have cleaners come 2 times a month to clean the floors, bathrooms, kitchen and dust but still there is a need to make sure things stay tidy in between their visits.

There is plenty of parking on the street at all times of the day and eventhough I am located only 2 blocks from the United Center, only permit parking (which is no charge) can park on the street during events.

LOCATION: about 2 blocks from awesome Randolph street restaurants and bars and only a few blocks to Ogilvie train station at Washington/Canal and the loop. I work in the loop so I will most likely be walking every day until it's cold outside! Only a couple blocks to a nice and new Dominicks and new Jewel in contruction to be done in Fall 2008. ONLY A FEW BLOCKS TO 90/94.
