FT and PT positions immediately available for highly motivated, team oriented candidates with 5+ years of insurance and billing experience in an Oral Surgery or Medical office setting. This position will provide financial counseling to patients regarding fees covered and not covered by insurance, verify insurance coverage, initiate payment plans where appropriate, and communicate with insurance carriers regarding information requested to resolve issues relating to coverage and payment. This position is also responsible for entering and monitoring the accuracy of financial information into patient accounts and tracks/communicates problematic accounts to Practice Manager.
Minimum requirements include:
• BA in Business or related Dental/Healthcare field;
• Proficiency in all aspects of health and dental insurance coverage, exhibiting technical knowledge of insurance plans and contracts;
• Strong communication and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve and multitask independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
