We currently have a position for a Part-time Leasing Consultant at one of our apartment properties that can effectively implement the leasing and marketing program, promote the positive image of the apartment community and to assist management with resident retention and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
-Responsible for maintaining work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner
-Maintains a detailed knowledge of the apartment community, amenities and community.
-Provides a daily inspection of show apartments and mini model appearance.
-Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including converting telephone inquiries, greeting prospective residents, touring the community, closing the sale, processing applications within 24-48 hours, typing leases, following up with prospects, obtaining signatures for completion of leases/paperwork prior to move-in.
-Collects and secures rental and individually metered utility payments.
-Produces reports in a timely, accurate and complete manner, including the weekly traffic reports and monthly market survey by physically visiting at least one market competitor monthly.
-Accurately tracks and reports all telephone and site traffic daily.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 2 years of leasing, customer service, and/or sales experience preferred, or willingness to comprehensively train in aspects of apartment leasing.
-Must be able to work any scheduled shift during the hours of operation
-High school education or equivalent.
-Mathematical skills (high school level) in order to calculate pro-rations.
-Possesses excellent telephone and communication skills.
-Competent ability with computer, calculator and fax machine.
-Must possess valid driver's license.
