Our therapeutic day school for children with special needs is looking for an energetic special education teacher (LBS1 or Early Childhood Certificate). The teacher's primary responsibilities include: classroom management, teacher assistant supervision, developing IEP goals/objectives, providing individual and group instruction, attend meetings/training, develop positive relationship with families and be an important part of the clinical team. Our program offers services for students ages 3 to 21. The school session is almost all year around (excluding seven week break throughout the calendar). The school's foundation is on the principles of applied behavior analysis. The student to staff ratio is 2:1 with class sizes ranging 5 to 10 students. Candidates must have an LBS1 or EC certificate.
