<b><u>JOB DESCRIPTION</u>:</b>

•	Sessions occur at the student’s home or at a preferred location, such as a public library. 
<br>
•	All tutoring takes place in a one-on-one environment. 
<br>
•	This is a part-time position, and we work around the tutor’s schedule.
<br>
•	Tutors work part-time anywhere from 2-25 hours a week; the amount of hours per week depends on the tutor’s schedule, what subjects they can tutor, and the amount of hours they prefer.
<br>
•	Where a tutor lives or goes to school determines which area they will tutor in. 
<br>
•	Most tutoring takes place Monday through Thursday between the hours of 4:00pm and 9:00pm. Weekend tutoring hours can also be arranged with students at various times. 
<br>
•	Tutors work with the same students on a weekly basis. 
<br>
<br>
<b><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY</u>:</b>

•	A reliable personal automobile (except in the New York City area)

Programs are held in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, and will begin between late October and mid-November, depending on the school. Tutors will undergo a paid training in our leveled, user-friendly curriculum, preparing them to deliver high-quality programs to students from grades 1-12.

COMPUTER EXPLORERS is accepting applications for teachers to teach classes beginning in mid-January.  Most classes meet weekly and are scheduled for afternoon hours (typically between 2:30 and 6:30 pm).  The right candidate will be able to teach children between the ages of 3-12 using computers, software and peripherals using an afterschool curriculum that is both fun and educational. Classes typically run Monday through Thursday, and the right candidate must be able to commute to different sites within a segment of Will County, and be able to work 8-15 hours per week. While we are searching for candidates to teach throughout northern Will County, there is an immediate need for an individual to teach in Plainfield, Channahon, Romeoville, Shorewood and surrounding communities.<br>

Paid training will be provided and suburban residents are preferred.  Teachers must be able to teach throughout the Winter/Spring sessions and may be offered the opportunity to teach summer classes in 2010 if interested.<br>

• Set appointments for prospective students to visit the school.

<description><![CDATA[Music and fun rolled into one! We are looking for outgoing, energetic, creative people who love preschool children to teach our music and movement program, Kid Rock! This popular  program in the Northwest suburbs is enjoyed by over 8000 students per year!

We are looking for a teacher in the La Grange area on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings 9:00 - 12:00 p.m. We have an excellent, paid training program and provide all supplies and curriculum materials to our instructors. New instructors average $18 per hour.
