Although we LOVE all furry family members, this event is
for pets that need a loving home. Please leave your pets at home
and let the shelter and rescue dogs shine today.
On October 25, 2009, NAWS (National Animal Welfare Society) will be teaming with
K-9 Tailshakers to host our first “ RESCUE ME!” animal rescue event and benefit from
10am - 1pm at K9 Tailshakers. We anticipate that this event will be a signature event for
years to come. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to assist families in
need with veterinary care provided by NAWS. The majority of the proceeds will be
provided to Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy.
Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy, the largest and oldest organization of its type in the
Chicago metropolitan area, is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to using the
capabilities and magic of dogs in therapeutic environments, especially with children.
70% of Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy dogs are rescues!!!!
