Where in the world is Wilton Center?
Protected from development by a forest preserve, this tiny community southwest of Chicago is an easy, relaxing 1-hr Metra commute to downtown, or a 45-min drive to the Loop in good traffic. (But traffic is rarely good, so save yourself frustration, gas, car maintenance, and city parking costs and unwind, read, or watch a dvd on Metra instead. That's what I used to do.)
Note that utilities are very cheap for this house, as there is a passive solar heating system that makes heating inexpensive in the first place, and there are no gas, city water or sewer bills :) Basically you pay an electric bill and a trash bill and that's it!

I'm not your typical 'landlord.' I'm just trying to keep this amazing home that took our family 30+ years of our lives to build occupied and cared for.
