I offer educated instrumental and composition/theory lessons on piano and classical, rock, and jazz Guitar. For $15.00/30 min. session I have students that come to my studio for his/her lesson and students that have me come to their home, in which case there is a $0.50/ml service charge added to the total cost of the lesson.

While some teachers simply may teach how to play the instrument, I offer an in depth look behind the techniques used and why. In conjunction with the physical form of the human body, certain techniques, while they may seem more difficult to master, are the only logical approach when really looking at and considering the physics involved.

Also, I engage my students into training the mind to analyze and comprehend the theory used in composition of pieces/songs in order to pinpoint and recognize the creativity and strategies in not only the sound of a particular piece but the structure of and relationships between the notes in a piece that make up that sound. This is taught in order to allow the student to eventually use his or her own creativity to develop logical note relationships, harmonies and forms with in their own music.
