Band mates needed for fresh start up cover band
I am 26 years old, live in Chicago Ridge, have been playing bass for 6 years, been around musicians all my life and have never been in a gigging band. I have recently decided tat that is all going to change. I need a couple of guitar players (rhythm and lead), drummer, possible keyboard player and a singer who is into playing covers from the 80’s – current, including genres such as Rock, Contemporary Country and Alternative. You must be:
- An all around cool person ( no ego’s)
- Ready to have fun
- Not into drugs
- Dedicated – practice once a week and ready to play as many gigs as possible. I want this to be a part time job for us.
- Reliable equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Have good stage presence
- Be around the same age as me ( just so its not really weird )
This is not really a must but; it would be great if you had a place to practice because I live in a condo. Practicing at my place is not an option.
This also is not a must but; please be good. I love to surround myself with better musicians than myself. It helps me rise to the occasion.
