The Sector Manager (Job Developer) is responsible for successful development of long-term employer relationships that result in high numbers of career path placements for Safer clients within their assigned sector.  Working cooperatively with other Sector Managers, will establish complimentary strategies for recruiting employers and develop in-depth sector expertise that includes relationships with associations, unions, key training providers and employers offering job opportunities at all levels. Sector Managers must also be able to share their career path expertise with clients from other programs who are looking to develop their own realizable career path plans.<br>

JOB DESCRIPTION:<br>
<br>
- Working cooperatively with Reentry Coaches, Job Coaches, and 	Retention Specialists to achieve long-term retention (at least 90 days) through client and employer strategies and interventions.<br>
<br>
-  Identifying and recruiting employers that offer quality jobs and successfully sell them on the benefits of hiring employees through Safer Foundation.<br>
<br>
-  Successfully achieve annually established monthly placement objectives and productivity standards in order to achieve contractual obligations.<br>
<br>
-  Providing each assigned client coaching and counseling regarding a realistic, effective and successful job search.  Coaching includes the areas of resumes, interviews, hygiene and dress, communications and other soft skills and employment retention.<br>
<br>
-  Referring qualified applicants to employers including providing follow-up with employer and applicant on a regular basis at established intervals to verify ¡§right fit¡¨ for each.<br>
<br>
-  Maintaining complete records of client contact in Safer¡¦s database, Axiom, and providing weekly reports on client progress.<br>
<br>
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:<br>
Three years successful experience developing relationships with employers resulting in placing large numbers of clients in jobs.  Excellent sales skills and in-depth knowledge of sector employment opportunities relevant to Safer clients.  Strong ability to develop marketing/program materials.  Must be able to make presentations and deliver reports to a variety of external and internal audiences.  Excellent computer skills and knowledge of database applications.  Ability to work productively under pressure.<br>

We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Major Gift Fundraising in our international headquarters office located in the south Chicago suburb of Crete, IL.  This individual gives leadership to all Regional Major Gift Fundraising activities including Major Gift Fundraisers, Planned Giving, Foundations and Volunteer efforts and will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans in order to expand and broaden the major donor base of Bible League International.  The Senior Director will develop strategies to identify placement and territories of Major Gift Fundraisers along with continual evaluation of the regional structure, effective reporting mechanisms, a training program and a minimum of 10% growth per year in revenue.  This individual will also take a leadership role in donor identification and research of potential and current donors and will promote a consistent program of constituency development.   <br>

Qualifications include being a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and also agree with Bible League International’s Statement of Faith.
