A typical day may involve the following:
- maintaining client web sites
- updating domain renewals
- Handling day-to-day tasks required internally
- testing projects that are in development
- Backing up website
- Site migrations and account set-ups
Preferred Candidate:
* Must have a good solid knowledge in PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Must be about to carry yourself in a professional manner
* Good writing skills and English speaking
* Good work ethics, Initiative and Self-Reliant
* Organized and able to follow directions
* Efficient with attention to detail
* Easy-going and pleasant to work with
* Be available 3-5 days a week between 9:00-17:00 (Flexibly on hours can vary per project or our company needs.), and contactable by email, IM, Skype, and phone/video. With occasional face to face meetings.
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Located in or suburbs of Chicago
Compensation:
It's a part-time job for now as the business transitions from a "solo" operation to operating with employees. Compensation will be an hourly rate of $10-$15/hr with 20-30 hours per week to start.
No health/dental/etc. benefits at this point... other than the benefits of working remotely and being part of a growing development company!
