I used this on a 3.0ghz dual core cpu, overclocked to 4.5ghz! It works great, and keeps the cpu safe from overheating and no risk of damaging the cpu with the ability to push the cpu to extreme speeds. With a faster processor you can overclock to much higher speeds. Regular fans and heatsinks does not cool enough for high overclocking potential. Bottom line, you get more bang for your buck, and keep ahead with the cpu race, and also keep your cpu's from dying due to overheating using conventional air cooling, which can be loud with high rpm fans, and still wont produce below 0 temp cooling overclocks. The Mach I will never be obsolete as it can be made to fit any motherboard, cpu, with different kits, for different size cpu's.
