P D Post Productions, Inc. (P D Post) has been in business since 1990 and owner Pat DeFilippo is in his 25th professional year, most of them in post-production as a video editor but several additionally in production as a director, technical director, cameraman and/or producer.

Multiple video editing award winner Pat DeFilippo has thorough and diverse video editing experience including local and national television commercials, infomercials, local and nationally syndicated television shows and corporate communications videos. P D Post edits video for television, DVD, the web and more either in-house using P D Post equipment or at client facilities/on location using P D Post and/or client equipment. The in-house and mobile P D Post edit suites are Final Cut Studio 2 based and loaded with plug-ins and supporting software and equipment.

Using a mixture of detailed personal testimony from the person that lived through the experience and high quality dramatic reconstruction, we will tell the story of what happened to you and how you survived.

To make something very clear: the series does not seek to judge the people who have lived through the experience rather it gives them the chance to tell their story in their own words. The style of the series means that every piece of information the audience hears comes directly from the contributor. As such, we can�t sensationalize the events or in some way be unfaithful to the story. Most people that have agreed to take part have done so because they recognize the series will have a strong cautionary message at its heart. Many people have found themselves, by no fault of their own, in a terrible situation that they truly live to regret. SOUND GUY & EQUIPMENT FOR SITCOM PILOT SHOOT THIS WEEKEND (Chicago)

We are looking for a talented person(s) who can help us with sound for our video footage on a very low budget sitcom pilot.

Currently we have drawn interest from one major studio and a couple of LA production companies from a previous pitched/produced pilot. A recent festival pilot finalist, we are tweaking and extending (hour-long format) the pilot based on feedback before another scheduled meeting. We will be presenting to TV development executives (NBC, FOX, HBO, etc.) in LA early summer. This project will get major exposure.

Must own equipment (or access to sound package, boom, etc.), we will have all the other production equipment (2nd camera, lighting packages, crew, etc.). In this position, we are looking for entry level experience; bottom line... whoever has what it takes to make everything happen. Potentially this opportunity could lead to additional work (the eventual goal for this on-going sitcom to get produced locally whether or not a studio picks it up).

This is a tight deadline driven project. Please note this is not a big full-blown production, it is a �beg, borrow or steal production�. This is for serious inquiries only. We are looking for a script - a nice engaging script :-
Can be ROM-COM, Drama, Suspense/Thriller or Comedy [No HORROR scripts please].
Something that can be shot in 5 weeks in NY, lowbudget.
We plan to shoot on digital.

Means - it should have STRONG CHARACTERS.
We are NOT looking for ensemble pieces (scripts with 4-10 main characters).
The script/story should have one strong male character,
or one strong female character.
