Acquisitions & Mergers expert needed by Accountant - Project

I want to explore building my accounting business through acquisitions/mergers of other small practices through stock or incentives ???, and would like to know
how these work basically the info on if this is something that can work for me. I don't have access to conventional cash routes to do this, but am looking for other creative ways or routes to achieve this, would love to hear your thoughts.
