I am looking for a cost accountant with heavy cost experience. Interview tomorrow and start Monday. This position is a 2 week contract to Hire.
Summary:
Performs accounting functions consisting of inventory and labor hour maintenance and month end close responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports monthly close process.
Enters monthly inventory.
Maintains perpetual inventory.
Generates labor cost and shipments reports for management review.
Manages standard cost system.
Conducts product line analysis for management review.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Related work experience in cost accounting and/or finance.
Technical skills in account reconciliation, cost analysis and month-end close responsibilities, etc.
Planning and organization: an ability plan and manage multiple projects.
Strong customer orientation.
Attention to detail.
Problem analysis and problem resolution.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High performance teams and a strong team player.
Computer proficiency: Word and Excel Expert.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
Work experience in a manufacturing work environment.
