This is the last year that the Cyclocross 5 was made in the USA. They used the CAAD9 frame (whereas the '10 model will be with the CAAD8 frame). Sadly that CAAD9 frame is the last thing they still make in the US.

bike is in 'like new condition' with less then a handful of on road only rides.

tires show no wear, the brakes arent even fully seated or broken in yet.

Bike has regular wear and tear for a bike of its age and will need a new rear tire soon, also the crankarms are missing the bolt/washer on one side (should be easy to find a replacement) and the seat post clamp is for a larger diameter post, it sorta works but I would recommend getting a new one. Fun, light bike though!

Very nice high end road bike with most original parts and some newer parts (seat, seat post, wheelsets (I think), brake levers...) Would make for a great (very light) single speed or fixed gear if that's what you're in to.

Frame is made from Chrome Polybdenum Quad-Butted Steel Tubing 9658, Suntour Superbe Pro group. This bike weighs around 20 lbs, it's lighter than my 52cm 2007 fuji track bike.

This bike is in great ready-to-ride condition, few scuffs here and there. Might need to true the rear wheel, no pedals.

The Opus III line was one step down from Fuji's top of the line bike the Professional. The Opus line bikes were all hand built and have unique serial numbers that show when the bike was built. There is a lot of info and history contained in the links below.
