We live in a great neighborhood in Clarendon Hills, a western suburb. Our house is on a safe, quiet street with big trees and is located very close to a pair of nice parks where the children play frequently.

We have three children whose ages are 4, 7, and 9. The oldest children are in school from about 8 a.m. until about 2:45 p.m. and the youngest child is in preschool from noon until around 2:30 p.m. The children are very loving and fun to be around. Note that our 9 year old has an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Experience working with such children is a plus, but not necessary as we will provide training for addressing his special needs.

Key Responsibilities

-Caring for the children when not in school.
-Engaging the children in play and educational activities, including homework and reading with the 6 year old.
-Grocery shopping and preparing meals for the children.
-Seeing them off to school and being there when they get home.

Skills Coaches will receive training in working with children with autism including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. They will be supervised by the VP of Care and Support, who is BCBA certified.
