Camp Bow Wow – Oak Park is looking for a working Crew Lead/Dog Handler for the afternoon – evening shift.
25-35 hours per week
Hours 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM Monday – Friday. Every other Saturday 7:00 – 12:00 PM & 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Must be available to work most holidays.
Job Requirements:
Must love working with dogs.
Professional experience working with dogs in a daycare or boarding facility, as a vet tech or vet assistant, or as a dog walker or dog trainer.
Must have verifiable work experience and references.
Outgoing personality with excellent verbal communication skills and experience communicating with customers.
Advanced computer skills including the ability to trouble shoot basic hardware and software problems.
Ability to lead a small team as a working supervisor. Capable of very active and physical work, bending, stooping, heavy cleaning. Must be able to be on your feet all day. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Desire to work hard and get along with co-workers every day.
High School graduate or equivalent. Some college desirable.
Prior supervisory experience desirable but not required.
Highly reliable, on-time, and flexible.
