You can go out and enjoy the night and sleep in the next day without worrying about the kids. I provide childcare in my home normally so I already have plenty of toys and games for the kids. I can provide pampers, wipes and formula for infants as well. All you have to do is drop the child off with a change of clothes for the next day. Everything else will be covered.

I have two children ages 10 and 2 and they would love to have other children come to the party at our house. I will have my mom help out with the children also. The boys and girls will sleep in separate areas with me sleeping in the middle.

I am 31 years old and have over 15 year experience in childcare. As I mentioned before, I offer regular childcare in my home so having other children sleep over is very familiar to me.

We are currently looking for a live-in "mommy's helper" type nanny starting in February (or sooner.) I am a SAHM due to deliver our 3rd baby in mid/late February. We currently have 2 children ages 4 and 2 (pretty good kids, but they are young and energetic) and are looking for someone who can help with the kids (caring for, planning activities, p/u and d/o for preschool, etc) and some house cleaning.
Because I am a SAHM the hours can be somewhat flexible; however, I am on a mild form of bed-rest "very low activity" so I need to have someone most of the day during the week.
In the immediate (beginning first week in January) I need help on Thursdays. Then likely Fridays and possibly Tuesdays. But, we will need someone full-time by early Feb at the latest.
We have a very nice home in Elmhurst with a private bedroom and bath. We're also a very welcoming family that would love to have a live-in who felt like part of the family.

I love children and I also have a 16-month-old daughter. I have worked in day care centers before and taken a CPR course. I have a fully stocked first aid kit / fire extinguishers and emergency plans in place for fire or weather related problems. I believe that an in home daycare has more benefits then a day care center. I think it is important to be able to give children as much one on one care as possible. I think smaller settings help in the development of young minds. I only plan on having three children plus my own which makes four. The children will still get the interaction with other children but they won't be fighting for attention like they would be at a bigger daycare center. I love the outdoors and we have two parks within walking distance from my house one being right out my back door. There are walking paths with lots of nature to look at. I think it is very important to let kids be kids. We can make snowmen in the winter and play outside (weather permitting). In doors we have lots of learning toys to play with, activities, healthy breakfast, snacks and lunches. We have nap/rest time where the children that take naps can get their sleep and the older children can nap, lay quietly or play a quiet game. I do NOT believe in spanking. I think a time out in tune to the child�s age is appropriate. I know to get down to the child's level and talk to them eye to eye. I will ask them what the problem is that they are having and teach them how to resolve any problems. I think manners are a very important quality for children to learn because it will help them for the rest of their lives. When children learn to be respectful of each other they carry that for a lifetime. I think the most amazing thing to see is a child learning new things each day. I would love to be a part of that with all of the children I watch. I know the feeling of having to be away from my daughter and working full time. I want to be sensitive to other parents in that area because I know how hard it is to leave your child(ren) with someone else all day. I will treat them as if they were my own. I have taken lots of child development and education classes in college. I put teaching on pause in order to stay home and bring my own children up in a wholesome, old fashioned, healthy, educational way.

I homeschool my 3 children, ages 2, 4, 9. I am currently watching a 2 year old during the day, but her mom was recently laid off. Effective September 21st she will no longer need care, so that leaves me with two openings. I will only watch 2 children at a time so that I can provide excellent care and lots of attention. I probably will not be filling the other opening for at least 3 months so that your child will have plenty of time to adjust to our home.

We live in North Naperville near Rt 59 and I-88. We live in a 3 bedroom split-level home with lots of living space for all of us. Middle school and Pre-school are in our sub-division, so they are very close. Girls are active in band, orchestra, chorus, volleyball and in the Spring/summer they play softball too. Busy months are May and June with softball games/practice a couple times per week. This year they are on the same team, so it will not be as crazy/busy.

I think smaller settings help in the development of young minds. I only plan on having three children plus my own which makes four. The children will still get the interaction with other children but they won't be fighting for attention like they would be at a bigger daycare center. I love the outdoors and we have two parks within walking distance from my house one being right out my back door. There are walking paths with lots of nature to look at. I think it is very important to let kids be kids. We can make snowmen in the winter and play outside (weather permitting). In doors we have lots of learning toys to play with, activities, healthy breakfast, snacks and lunches. We have nap/rest time where the children that take naps can get their sleep and the older children can nap, lay quietly or play a quiet game. I do NOT believe in spanking. I think a time out in tune to the child�s age is appropriate. I know to get down to the child's level and talk to them eye to eye. I will ask them what the problem is that they are having and teach them how to resolve any problems. I think manners are a very important quality for children to learn because it will help them for the rest of their lives. When children learn to be respectful of each other they carry that for a lifetime. I think the most amazing thing to see is a child learning new things each day. I would love to be a part of that with all of the children I watch. I know the feeling of having to be away from my daughter and working full time. I want to be sensitive to other parents in that area because I know how hard it is to leave your child(ren) with someone else all day. I will treat them as if they were my own.
