We are currently interviewing for the following position:

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

This position is primarily a sales, marketing and leadership position. An Assistant Director will lead a team of dedicated full and part-time educators in achieving the center’s revenue/enrollment goals while overseeing the delivery of the finest supplemental education services in the industry. An Assistant Director promotes our services through school, business and community contacts and manages the delivery of our individualized education programs to our students in the center. Successful candidates must be committed to attaining both the center's business goals as well as its educational goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee the quality of instruction while students are in the center
• Administer initial evaluations and assist new students
• Complete administrative tasks to support the operations of the center
• Assess and monitor student progress, carefully managing their individual programs of instruction
• Meet with school teachers and other associated officials
• Assist the Center Director in center management and run the learning center in their absence
• Hire, train, supervise and motivate part-time teachers
• Meet revenue, operational and marketing goals at the center
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Participate in marketing, community and school-based outreach efforts

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Education, Management, Sales/Customer Service
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• A professional appearance and demeanor as well as demonstrable talent interacting effectively with all types of people
• A strong desire to work with children in a positive, team-oriented environment and a strong commitment to help children succeed academically
• The ability to be detail oriented, with a high level of organization and ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with staff and customers
• High levels of energy & enthusiasm, outgoing & confident personalities
• The ability to motivate others/work in a team environment and effectively manage a team in a changing environment
• A strong customer service orientation
• Evening and occasional Saturday availability


We provide the comprehensive training needed to be successful in this excellent and highly rewarding opportunity. Directors are compensated with a base salary commensurate with experience and ability, revenue sharing and goal-based bonuses, paid vacation and holidays and initial and on-going training and support.
