Let me explain...
I have been in a band where people rely on the income(Nothing wrong with that) and I felt obligated to take every gig we got because others really needed it. I want to create an image, take our time, create a sound and pick and choose the right clubs. I have a family and a really good job...But I just have to have to perform, too. Basically, looking for like minded guys. Family is a priority, but you have to balance.
Details:
Looking for Groove oriented players...Piano(Bluesy, Jazzy, Funky, creative), Bass...Nasty! Lock with Layed back, Pocket laying down, beat so fat you can drive a truck through it-drummer...Maybe a guitar too.
Music would be some original and alot of Funked out standards...ala Jamie Cullum. I would like to purchase that Bose L1 Model 2 system for ease and great sound. I already have a great wireless mic and I may get one of those vintage looking Sures(55??)Not a great mic, but look cool and we can tweak the eq...
Anyway...If this is not your thing, don't email me your disagreements with my philosophy...This is what I am looking for...I don't care. Move on.
