Before you read, here are the requirements below were looking for.

Requirements to audition:

1. Must be between ages of 21-30 (NO EXCEPTIONS UNLESS YOUR PHENOMINAL)

5. Can sing clean and raspier (Eg. Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach)

We are an original rock/hard rock band that needs a new vocalist. We recently just got offered a management contract and record contract from a very reputable company and have booking nationwide/internationally if need be. We cannot get along with our vocalist and need a new one. (he is no longer in the band) Our style is like Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Daughtry, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, etc, although we do have ballad songs as well. We are looking for a singer that has a great vocal range and can sing high and low with some screaming abilities. (screaming not required, but would help in some songs) Looking for a voice that sounds like Papa Roach, Seether or Godsmack. (Great range with a heavier raspier voice) Must be between the ages of 21-30, willing to tour, and not have an ego. If you are just looking to do this for fun, please don't reply. NO JOBBERS! Cold Water Mystic seeking Female sax who can wail with her voice as well as her horn! We are currently working on a full length album, and would love to fill out the sound with some sax and some female vocals. We plan to finish the album by the end of summer, and there will be many gigs to follow.
In 07/08 we have played House of Blues, Cubby Bear, Double Door, and Durty Nellies, among other places.

We rehearse twice a week in Brookfield, and generally play out in Chicagoland once to twice a month.
We are looking for a girl to join the band as a full member who would contribute to songwriting. She must have a strong stage presence, and a high energy personality. Pay is not great, but we do take a little home. Once the album is finished, we hope to really step up the revenue!

I am looking to form a band to do a tribute to James Taylor. I play and sing his style and would like to find other huge Taylor fans that happen to be musicians - bass, piano, drums - that would be interested in the project.
I am open to ideas for shows, how to promote the band etc... as I know there are alot of Taylor fans out there and this could be a nice niche thing for festivals, parties etc.... Last year we were working 2 - 3 times a month, looking to keep it to 2 shows per month.

The band consists of 4 dedicated and experienced players: lead vcl/guitar, bass/vcl, lead guitar/vcl, drums/vcl, 36-50yrs. We have a great rehearsal space (Naperville - weekly), great PA and gear.

Before you read, here are the requirements below were looking for.

Requirements to audition:

1. Must be between ages of 21-30 (NO EXCEPTIONS UNLESS YOUR PHENOMINAL)
2. Have decent/rock look
3. Great vocal range- Can sing high and low
4. Willing to tour/have great stage presence
5. Can sing clean and raspier (Eg. Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach)
6. Can write great lyrics and can send an MP3 or myspace of what you look and sound like.

We are an original rock/hard rock band that needs a new vocalist. We recently just got offered a management contract and record contract from a very reputable company and have booking nationwide/internationally if need be. We cannot get along with our vocalist and need a new one. (he is no longer in the band) Our style is like Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Daughtry, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, etc, although we do have ballad songs as well. We are looking for a singer that has a great vocal range and can sing high and low with some screaming abilities. (screaming not required, but would help in some songs) Looking for a voice that sounds like Papa Roach, Seether or Godsmack. (Great range with a heavier raspier voice) Must be between the ages of 21-30, willing to tour, and not have an ego. If you are just looking to do this for fun, please don't reply. (we have fun as a band and are real laid back, but are looking to make it as well) Also, must have studio experience singing.
