Marketing Events Coordinators needed:

Like to Lead a team of sales people? Like to market products? Interact with decision makers?

Then we’re looking for you!

Elite Marketing Interactions is an in-house marketing company that works with vendors such as Starbucks, Burt’s Bee, Frito Lay, California Pizza Kitchen, Coca-Cola, Kraft and Smirnoff. We also do events such as Cooking with the Blackhawks (Breat Seabrook, Duncan Keith, Brent Sopel), Cooking with the Bears (Brad Maynard, Daniel Manning, Nick Roach) and Cooking with the Cubs (Ryan Theriot and others). Sometimes we do off-site events at places such as Wrigley Field, The Elgin Wine Festival, Brookfield Zoo and the Tastes of McHenry and Joliet.

We reach consumers on the individual level in order to increase sales for our partners and solicit immediate feedback on the product.

As an Event Coordinator, you’ll lead a team of 10-15 people who will market and sell a product inside of a major retailer (Meijer) in the Chicagoland Area. Through your leadership and operational support, you will ensure that your team is able to flawlessly and successfully execute multiple marketing events each day, Thursday through Monday.

As the sales team arrives, you’ll ensure that they have the proper understanding of the product and are able to seamlessly talk to the customers about the key selling points of the product. This is done through coaching the teams on effective merchandising techniques as well as coming in earlier than them some days to prep for the event. Throughout the day you’ll provide feedback, rewards and coaching to your team while continuing to support them operationally.

Developing a strong relationship with the store leadership is imperative to this job. As such you’ll meet with them during the week to discuss the products that we’ll be marketing that week.

Must be able to lead, coach and develop your team members!
