Our main focus is to provide our customers with complete POS solutions including software, hardware, networking, consultations, installation and ongoing service and system support. NCBP has 15 branch offices and we actively do business in 13 states. We now have an opening for a Grocery Software Specialist/Installer in our Chicago location!
Duties:
•Manage the POS installation process
•Consult with customers and business owners
•Configure, program and test POS software according to customer specifications
•Install software and networks
•Train the customer on the POS systems; this includes back room, book keeping, and front end training.
•Assist Sales Managers with demonstrations
•Assist our internal technical team with software support issues
•This salaried position requires possible long hours, some overnight projects, and out of state travel as well as being a part of a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements - Ideal candidates have:
•Strong software, hardware and networking experience
•Provide excellent internal and external customer service
•Solid experience/education with Windows applications
•Prior experience in the grocery industry (desired)
•2 year AAS degree in computers and/or A+ and Network+ Certifications (desired)
•Point of Sale experience (desired)
•Excellent communication, organization and training skills
•Bilingual - English/Spanish (highly desired)
•The ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs.
•A valid drivers license, proof of insurance and a good driving record
